   I’ve bookmarked your site and will come back. I need to learn more about affilliate marketing. I am making decent “hobby” money with blogging, but I think to really make real money you need to do affiliate marketing and I don’t know how.

   I also like Wordpress for this but I wonder how this strategy differs from normal niche blogging processes? Sounds very similar if not the same.

   Peter,
   Not sure what you mean by normal niche blogging processes. To me, niche blogging would be blogging about a particular niche subject, and monetizing the blog with Adsense or affiliate products.

   This is really more about blogging about a specific product. The theory is, you want people who are searching for a product by name to find your blog. Hopefully they are searching because they are ready to buy, and they find your blog and buy from you.

   I should have stated the copy and paste paragraph better. What I really meant to say was that you gather, and write the information for each field into Word or notepad or something. Then you simply copy and paste it into the appropriate fields.

    Interesting strat. I know a few people who are really successful with running a “review” type sites. Im not sure if its the same set up your are mentioning. I haven’t done any review type stuff. Mainly i do adsense, ebay, and various other affiliates in the forum of small niche blogs.

    I’ve yet to earn income from my blogs. I have read though that one wants to find the products that will pay out the most in commissions. Does anyone here utilize Commission Junction? And if so how is it working out for you?

    Thanks for your site Mike. I’m a big fan of anything Chris Rempel produces. He presents his information very clearly without hype and B.S. His VIP products are little gems and the conduit method works a treat!

    The search engines love blogs and review sites. Sounds like a winning combination.

    I can confirm that this works. I have a competetor in my industry that has set up a million of these things, and he’s hurting me SEO-wise despite having an inferior product.

    Being successful in affiliate marketing isn’t as easy as rolling out of bed, regardless of what any company says. It’s not just a case of reading a few tips putting up some links and banners and waiting for the money to roll in. Whether an affiliate or merchant, it takes effort, passion and commitment to make the most from revenue share programs.

    Even if you do your marketing correctly, your site does generate a lot of traffic and you refer thousands of visitors to your merchants, there are many traps and pitfalls that can see you losing your commissions.

    I agree Wordpress blogs can bring traffic very fast, but also blogger blogs are good. Alexa rank for Wordpress is #12, and Alexa rank for Blogger is #8, so both this blogs are very useful when you want to get fast traffic.

    Great blog! I had to do this recently with one of my affiliates but I handled it a little bit differently. I simply built a page about the type of product and wrote a brief explanation of it. Then I pointed all the links I controlled to that page…and that page to the affiliate. So now I can also work on seo for the page on my site to possibly bring in searchers for the affiliate product in addition to those who see links or banners around my site.
